Data Protection

In accordance with the provisions of the Law 15/99, of December 13th, on “Protection of private data” (LOPD), SATEC is reporting to all its customers that some of the data that it compiles from them will be added to an automated file recorded in the Agencia de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Office). These data belong to SATEC, which will use them to answer its customers’ requests. In accordance with the Article 5 of the above referred law, all SATEC’s customers will be properly informed of how SATEC uses their data and who are their final receivers.

Information: Data registration

The data conveyed to SATEC by its customers will be added to the automated file “Contactos comerciales” (“Commercial contacts”), which is recorded in the Agencia de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Office). SATEC will be allowed to use them for its internal management of those commercial contacts requesting for information or already working with SATEC. Except for those fields included in SATEC forms in which something different is said, answering to the private questions included in them are voluntary. If answering them, customers are engaged to say the truth. In accordance with the article 27 of the Law 15/1999, of December 13th., on “Protection of Private Data”, SATEC is also asking its customers for permission to convey their data to the different companies belonging to SATEC Group, inside and outside Spain, to be used by them for the above referred purposes. This way, those other companies of the group will also be able to offer their services to SATEC’s customers. The following are the companies belonging to SATEC Group:

• SATEC, Sistemas Avanzados de Tecnología, S.A.
• CONVEX, Consultoria e Integraçao de Sistemas.
• InterHost, Servicios de Hosting en Internet, S.A.

In accordance with the article 5 of the Law 15/1999, of December 13th., on “Protection of Private Data”, customers have the right to access this information, correct the possible wrong data and ask for the removal of their data from the “Commercial contacts” file by sending a written request to: “Atención LOPD, Sistemas Avanzados de Tecnología, S.A., Avenida de Europa 34 A, 28023 Madrid”, or sending it to the e-mail address lopd@satec.es, in accordance with the article 5.4. of the above referred law.

LSSICE (e-Commerce)

In accordance with the new law in force 34/2002 of July 11th., on “Services given by information companies and e-commerce” (LSSICE), SATEC is reporting the following: The web address www.satec.es belongs to SATEC, Sistemas Avanzados de Tecnología, S.A., Reg.
