Konica-Minolta of Portugal has implemented a solution to manage worksheet lifecycle for its Technical Service Staff. The solution is based on a Navision backend and DataMovil for the front-end. The technical service staff is provided with a PDA-Windows Mobile with GPRS communications and the DataMovil client incorporated.

The users connect to the DataMovil server to download the next worksheet they must fulfill and return it whenever it has been completed. The new assigned worksheets are sent to the DataMovil server from Navision.

The systems improves the productivity of the workforce providing the possibility to manage the task assignments in real time, as the activity is progressing. A better control is achieved and the chances of getting faulty information are greatly reduced.

Convex Portugal performed the integration of the solution.
