Madrid, 7th of November of 2007. Satec has made available DataMovil 3.0 final release. This version includes for the first time a J2ME CLDC MIDP 2.0 client for advanced phones.

DataMovil is a market leader platform for the development of transactional applications in PDAs. It is based on Xforms, the W3C Recommendation for the new generation of the web. In addition to the PDA version, DataMovil 3.0 is now available for the following platforms: TabletPC, UMPC, PDA, and Smartphones like Nokia Serie 60 and Blackberry.

The new release offers significant advances in the Xforms standard compliance. The whole events model, as per XML Events 1.0 is implemented and many more new features of Xforms 1.0 and 1.1 are now included. The recalculation engine is new and the "refresh" action is now seldom used. Moreover, performance improvements in memory management and response have been introduced.
