SATEC releases DataMovil 3.1

Madrid, 13th of January of 2010. Satec has made available DataMovil 3.1. This version includes several enhancements in different areas of the product.

First of all, a new client user interface is included based on the SWT Java standard, well known because it is the interface used in Eclipse. Now, three different interfaces are available: the classical AWT and SWT for Personal Profile and J2SE Java virtual machines and the MIDP 2.0 user interface.

The client now supports the following Xforms 1.1 functions:

  • is-card-number()
  • property()
  • digest()
  • hmac()

Several bugs have been corrected in relation with aggregated binds and fonts for the J9 JVM.

In the editor, all the new features available for the client are supported, including preview for the SWT interface. Also a bug related to default attributes has been corrected.

DataMovil is a market leader platform for the development of transactional applications in PDAs and advanced handsets. It is based on Xforms, the W3C Recommendation for the new generation of the web. DataMovil 3.1 is available for the following platforms: TabletPC, UMPC, PDA, and Smartphones like Nokia Series 60 and Blackberry.
